Mission Statement

Champ’s Legacy provides education, inspiration, coaching, rehoming, and resources to help people understand that all animals whether disabled, neglected, pregnant, or elderly deserve a chance.

No matter the circumstances, we understand that illness, disability, and birth defects of an animal can feel overwhelming. Whether it's coaching through the steps necessary to determine the degree of disability or helping to rehome animals in need. We can help locate services, find qualified resources, locate qualified rescues and sanctuaries, and coordinate transportation, if necessary.

The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be to:

• provide information to help everyone understand the joy and needs of carrying for special needs animals including inspirational stories images and videos of happy special need animals living life to the fullest.

• establish a network of trusted and qualified volunteers, partners, rescues, sanctuaries and resource providers as a referral network and to provide assistance for specific cases of animals or owners in need.

• support, coach and advise owners of animals with special needs on making decisions about their needs and care and directing them to trusted and qualified resources.

• provide assistance rehoming and relocating animals when their needs exceed the abilities or resources of the owner.

• arrange and coordinate transport of animals when they need to be relocated for rehoming or for special services

• arrange temporary foster or respite for owner’s carrying for special needs animals
